Descend the stairwell to the parlor and bat your eyelashes at your Rhett! Let him whisk you away to the Old Mill (only remaining structure surviving from the 1939 film) for a romantic picnic under an “1828″ tree. The Empress of Little Rock welcomes you to join us for a most unique Romantic Getaway in Arkansas!  Sail the inland lake used by Olympic sailors for training, Lake Maumelle!  Lake Maumelle, a stunning 8,900 acre inland lake with 70-miles of shoreline, is located near The Empress in Little Rock, AR.  The lake is well known for the many sailing regattas it hosts,  its popularity with weekend sailors and its use by Olympic sailors for training.  Book a stay in your choice of nine  luxury guestrooms and then add on a romantic sailing excursion! Let a professional masseuse “rub that stress right out of your hair” with a dose of the healing art in the privacy of your Victorian sanctuary.   Receive a  couples 60-minute massage for each of you.   Or, a single one hour massage.

When only the best will do for this last special moment before two become three! Need a romantic getaway before “Baby Makes Three?” The Empress of Little Rock is the “inn” place to be! Imagine checking into one of our romantic suites and finding sparkling cider and our signature double hand-dipped chocolate covered cherries on a silver tray!  We will arrange for an in-room prenatal massage for mother-to-be and Swedish massage for daddy-to-be. After the massages have dinner for two at the wonderful Ciao’s Italian restaurant (discount coupon included) in the heart of downtown Little Rock. Following your meal relax in a ride around downtown Little Rock in a horse-drawn carriage. Back at the inn, fall into a featherbed and drift off to sleep as visions of the little one go dancing in your head. The next morning enjoy a two course gourmet breakfast by candle light.
